Old Stortfordian 2025

I received in the post physical copies of the last documents I worked on for Bishop’s Stortftord College and am so pleased with how they turned out – it feels like a fitting sign off to my time as the marketing team’s in-house designer.

I joined the College with a solid foundation of design skills and a real desire to develop my expertise in all areas of print, from publication to large format out-of-home advertising and everything in-between. As the only creative within the department much of my learning was self-guided, aided by discussions with external printers and suppliers, and, of course, a little trial and error.

The upshot of this was that I built real partnerships with printing agencies who understood our values and ambitions from the very beginning. We established a consistency in the visual timbre of printed materials for the College that adds an unspoken layer to the brand identity, whilst the design ensures each publication remains individually unique.
